So IDW  this Wednesday is coming out with IDW Publishing's Godzilla: Legends. I do love me some Godzilla. But these are going to be stand alone issues where you don't really have to get into a whole back story about the monsters etc.  IDW can be found Here
OSR idea tie in
I've used the lone back story adventure idea for years. Instead of the characters all meeting in a tavern. I've had the villain creaming a couple of the PCs loved ones & letting them fall together then tying it all up at the end of a campaign with the final battle. There's some awesome ideas in these comics for a post monster or apocalyptic game if you look. Anyhow here's the plot:

Godzilla Legends #4 (of 5)

An epic single issue story shining a light on another terrifying Toho monster! This issue sees the debut of the one and only Smog Monster- Hedorah! G-Force is sent to battle the blob-like beast as it lays waste to China. But another monster's presence might make this an even more chaotic conflict! Don't miss the mayhem!

  1. That looks pretty cool. Also, I never realized how much Hedorah looks like Cthulhu.

  2. Doesn't he though. Hmm what's the connection? Could Hedorah have further connections with the great old ones? Thanks for the comments Trey! There's more to come man!
