Mandate Archive - The Imago Dei Mini Review

Mandate Archive: The Imago Dei
Another free Stars Without Numbers product! This time its bleeding edge space fleet A.I action!
So we've got nine pages of some very weird A.I. stuff :

Paladins of the Long Silence

Not every synthetic mind is bent on mankind's destruction. Some have a higher purpose, a nobler war to wage in the darkness between stars. Open this free supplement for the equally free Stars Without Number RPG to learn the truth about the enigmatic Imago Dei and their unending crusade to defend worlds ignorant of their very existence. As humanity is the image of God, so the Imago Dei is the shadow of His red right hand.
Aside from their little-known history, you'll find specifications for their bleeding-edge ship hulls. Included are seven sample Imago Dei warships for your own campaign, whether found as derelict plunder, seized by fanatics, or threatening the PCs' homeworld with the guns of a heretical Shepherd Fleet!
Mini Review
This is the Imago Dei & its strange religious orders of A.I. paladin style fleets along with their history, cultures, & roles that they play in humanity's future in the Stars Without Number universe. This isn't a happy go lucky space opera element. Seriously these guys are do gooders & very much the paladins of the campaign setting. That being said there is lots that can be done. They are mysterious, weird, & very interesting from a science fantasy setting perspective.
These aren't robots or simply A.I.s but personalities for a game! They can be your heroes, your knights in white charger space craft or the hand of God coming to smite the enemies of your campaign. The possibilities with them are very much endless.
For nine pages there's lots to work with. I enjoyed the bite sized little gem because it provides everything you need to get these weird A.I.s into the game.
They can even be brought in as the villains of some isolated system ruling it as tyrant lords of some old science fiction pulp story.
The star ships are very cool & likely to inspire some very interesting adventures on their own. All in all this is a fine addition to the Mandate Archive. You can pick this up for free right Here
